One of the hardest parts about living overseas as a missionary is the fact that your friends/family are so far away. I wish I could make dates with each one of you and share what God has been revealing to me these past few weeks, but for now, this blog will have to suffice.
To tag on to my last blog discussion about “What If…!”, I would like to share with you the many what if’s the Lord has been slowly revealing to me this year as I travel around the world and get my heart involved in a variety of ministries. Allow me to share with you some of the deep longings and dreams I have been pondering about lately….
The “What if’s…!” I feel right now are endless, which brings me to my next exciting news (and no -it is not a baby…yet!) During the big Awakening Conference in Brasov, Romania, we were told about a leadership training school called “G42”. The purpose of G42 is to equip future dreamers with the tools they need to make their “What if’s…!” realized. The school is fashioned in a manner that requires grappling over paradigm shifting topics such as kingdom eschatology (Ie. What does it mean when we pray “Your kingdom come ON EARTH as it is in heaven?), covenant relationships, and prophetic activation.
Both Dave and I became very excited at the opportunity to spend 6 months being poured into, equipped and most importantly, sent out. I have been “sent out” multiple times before (China, short term missions trips to Spanish speaking countries and most recently, the World Race) but the purpose&goal of G42 is to help unleash the kingdom vision God has placed deep inside of me. If you have ever been around me and heard me start to share my heart, you would know the many ideas I have for the future. Ideas such as leading short term mission trips and connecting the needs of the third world countries with the resources of the West. I am confident that all of these experiences are all training for the time when it is my turn to train others.Dave and I have been accepted to attend G42 starting in January 2010 in Mijas, Spain! I always knew my Spanish would come in handy=) We will be spending time with Dave’s family in Canada from Nov. 23- Dec. 7 and in LA from December 7th-January 2nd and would LOVE to get together with you and share all that God has revealed to us this year as we have traveled the world (literally) as His hands and feet. Thank you for all of your encouragement, prayers and support this year! Dave and I are fully funded for the World Race but we 
need to begin raising $2,000/month for 6 months for G42. This cost includes our housing, food and class courses. You can imagine the daunting task of raising support directly after the World Race and being fully aware of the difficult economic times happening in the US, but in saying that, we are confident that the Lord will provide as we follow Him in obedience to the calling He has clearly placed on our lives. It will probably be one of the best investments anyone can make as it will serve as a launching pad to a life of ministering to others. We need to raise $500 by November 15th, so please ask Him how He would have you partner with us. He has definitely shown His faithfulness to us this year through many of YOU back home!! Your words of encouragement through e-mails and blog comments mean the world to us! You are truly our partners in ministry like Paul writes about in Colossians 1:3. I always love the part where he says “I thank the Lord every time I think of you” We truly echo those words!!
