Whew! We are back from China. I will save you some details right now and let you know that it was a rough, but good month for me. I was blessed to be able to go to the Great Wall of China. It was amazing and we were at a great location with no other tourists. Well, with 50 of us there are plenty of other people around for sure.
Just so you know I did wear the same clothes every day for 27 days in China. It was ridiculously cold and I had to wear at some point everything I owned. No need to worry cause for the next three months we will be in Africa during their summertime so I should be quite toasty. We will be heading to Eldoret, Kenya. Please keep the following teams in your prayers as we go there this next month; Hephzibah, Judah, and Karis.
Just a few detail for everyone:
1. SUPPORT: I am below where I needed to be for November 1st which was $7667. I am just over $7000. Obviously this means I have not yet met my Dec. 1st goal which is almost $9000. I have complete faith that the money is on its way and that I will complete this whole year with my team. God is the ultimate provider. Please be in prayer and stand beside me in faith that the money is already there! You can

2. CHRISTMAS AND MY BIRTHDAY: Christmas is a great time for gifts and presents. I appreciate anything that you would like to send me. However, I will not be able to receive gifts or packages while in Africa. Anything that you would like to send me is much appreciated, but would be put to better use if you would like to mail my parents a check to deposit into my checking account. Since I have no income this year that would be a great way for you to support me so I can still pay those student loans while overseas. I request the same for my birthday (which I will be celebrating in January in Uganda!) You can click on the e-mail me link on the left hand side of the page for where you can send such donations to. Any amount would be great if that is how you choose to support and bless me over the holidays and my birthday.
3. COMMUNICATION: While in Africa chances are that we will not have power. If by some chance we do, blogs will still be limited do to the cost and how far away it is to get a place with internet connection. Just a heads up for all of you supporters. I will do my absolute best to keep you updated. I will only have about 2 more days of internet before entering Africa. I will try to get as many blogs up about China before I leave.
I love you and and miss you! Thank you for all of your prayers they were definitely needed and felt our entire month in China.
More updates to come soon!
