Whoo hoo! We have been given our first ministry assignment.
* Just a disclaimer that nothing is ever completely final in the World Race world. Everything is still open for God’s leading so things may change. Until then this is where my team KARIS will be heading during our first month in the Philippines.

Kids International Ministries, or KIM, exists to prepare children to honor God in their everyday lives. Founded in 2006, KIM was created to raise impoverished children in Christian environments across the globe. They desire to raise these children in one of their children’s homes or by connecting them to a Christian family for adoption, either in their culture or abroad.
Their first children’s home was founded in early 2005 in Manila, Philippines. In a city with tens of thousands of street children, they have taken over 30 children off the streets and into their home. They aim to meet the educational, physical, spiritual, and mental needs of each child.
Team Karis is blessed to be serving alongside and living in community with teams Alethia and Dunamis for this first ministry. Please pray for all three teams as we prepare our hearts for the work that God is already doing there. Also pray for the preperation of the hearts of the kids and the staff while we are there.
*In order for me to get to this ministry site I must have money in my account totalling almost $9000.00.
