We have three teams here at KIM that have all taken on Greek names Karis (grace), Alethia (truth) and Dunamis (power). I remember our team meeting with Gary and Lisa. We (Karis) went in right after Dunamis was done. Gary asked us what are name was and when we told him that it meant GRACE he literally said, “Man, you guys are asking for it.”

That statement just excited me and really just ignited my inmost being. I am asking for it. I am asking for it so much that I don’t even know what I am asking God for except for more of Him.

The culmination of these three teams was made truly evident in the past three days. As team Karis we have taken “the tunnel” on as our ministry project for the Philippines. We had brought other members of Dunamis and Alethia along at points and they had helped us pave the path of deliverance in that place.  For the past two weeks we have been pouring into these people. The love of Christ has been evident and Jason our translator was being used by God and he didn’t even know it. He would take us to people through out the community who had heard about us and wanted us to pray over them. (The hunger in this place is so immense.)

Jason’s 27th birthday was on Saturday. As a team we decided to cook him his favorite dinner: Spaghetti. We were thinking it would just be a thank you for all the help he has been to us, but God had other plans. Braedon came to us girls the day before and laid it out for us. It was time to get serious with the people in the tunnel. The foundation had been laid and relationships built, now was the time to lay down the gospel. Braedon and Brandon were going to present the gospel to Jason and his family.

Launi and her family (click here to read the blog on them) were there as well. Launi had been at the block party earlier and was completely trashed. Drunkeness consumes her daily and she is 4 1/2 months pregnant. Braedon had asked me who I though was suppose to talk to Launi and I said Tangi. At that very moment Tangi walked into Launi’s house and began speaking with her. I stood at the open door and began praying in the spirit seeking the Lord’s guidance and dicernment for this family. Before I knew it I uttered, “Hands. Baby. Heal.” Very direct at Tangi. She began praying. I asked her to call out the oppression and to name the spirits in that place. As she did she broken down crying and continued to pray. About 20 minutes later Tangi began to move around the house and pray over it as the Lord had instructed her.

Out of a spirit of love and truth I went to Launi and asked the Lord to have her understand every word that I was about to utter even though we didn’t speak the same language. I told Launi that God had better plans for her and her children. That she needed to rise up as a mother and take full responsibility of her children, that she needed to stop drinking. She was hurting her baby. At these words, Launi started to cry. After I spoke truth to her and she understood ,Cindy and I began to breakdown strong holds and cast out the demons that were in Launi.
The Spirit of the Lord entered that place. Truly amazing.

Sunday was an eventful day. I had orchestrated with Melissa and Angi from team Alethia (truth) to go and visit Basing and Olga and pray for them today since it was our sabbath and we were resting. Melissa and I had talked earlier about her taking some woman from the local church there so that once we left someone could still pray for and minister to this community. On their way out of the tunnel Melissa and Angi and a couple of woman from the church ran into Launi. She had been drinking again (9:30 am). Melissa brought the hard truth to Launi and told her that she was killing her baby. Melissa offered her hope and salvation through Jesus Christ and Launi accepted. We gained another sister in Christ today, praise God. She fully understood what was being asked and what she prayed.

Right after this Neil, Carly and Bev from team Dunamis (power) were walking by and Neil had these booklets about the gap between God and man and how the cross closes that gap. Launi told Neil that she didn’t know what he had in his hand, but that she knew she needed it and that it was going to help her to stop drinking and be a better mother.

GRACE was brought in and assured her that she can never do anything to horrible to ever make the Father not love her and reminded her that she wasn’t forgotten and that there was a better way. TRUTH came in with some harsh words that stemmed from the love of the Father and brought salvation to this child of God. Then POWER entered the mix and handed the word of the Lord over to the hungry woman.

Launi is going to bible study with the ladies tomorrow night. Rejoice with the angels in welcoming the “one” home.
