This is me in a nutshell… "Help! I'm in a nutshell!"
I'm Lindsay, Linds, Clark, or Clarky. Whichever name you call me suits me just fine. I'm random, spontaneous, and have the attention span of a hummingbird. I apologize if this blog reflects these traits. So hold onto something, because here we go…
Laughing is something I just can't get enough of. I appreciate goofy animal videos, pranks, a football to the groin, and good ole fashioned fart jokes. And I don't just laugh, I cackle. It's loud. I'm not embarrassed.
I'm a happy crier. Don't get me wrong, I cried during “The Notebook” (who didn't… don't lie guys… so sad); but if I see a happy moment it's all over. I cry when I see others reunited, winning competitions, winning prizes, giving to others, being compassionate, helping each other, surprising people, etc. Just think of a happy moment and I'm in the front row bawling. Oh and I cry during worship, and at live sporting events, they make me sooo happy!
love, Love, LOVE… this is one word I can't use enough, and over and over. I just can't help myself. I have so much love in my heart that sometimes I feel like it should be reined in because it's a little overwhelming for myself and others. My dog Tuli gets the brunt of my smothering love, and she has learned to hold very still until I am done kissing and squeezing her. Resistance is futile.

Here is a brief list of some of the things I love the most (super-condensed):
I love hugging, sneezing, camping for days without showering, laying in a hammock under the stars, sleeping in the sunlight, eating food that's really bad for me, my baba's perogies, scaring the heck outta people, any holiday or occasion where I can give gifts (especially Christmas!), and God the most of all!
I don't think I can end a description of myself without mentioning my faith. It is the core of who I am. Without it I really wouldn't be me. I am my faith, He is my saviour, and I am crazy, "out of my mind" in love with Him. I live my life every day aiming to serve Jesus not because I feel obligated, but because I'm free to choose. I know he gets my sense of humour and I'm sure Jesus is laughing, and crying, and loving right along with me, every step of the way.
"What kind of shell has a nut like this?"
2 Corinthians 5:13
If we are “out of our mind,” as some say, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
