Here is a quick recap of our last month on the World Race. My team and I spent 3 weeks partnering with Jaime and his church in Palacaguina, mostly working on building a school. Then we ended the month of ministry with an adventure weekend to Leon for some volcano boarding. I spent the last week of my race experience in San Juan Del Sur with my entire squad, as well as our mentor, coaches, and leaders who flew in from the US. We debriefed our experience and discussed reentry, but we mostly just soaked in the time we had left with each other. This included worship sessions together (I’m gonna miss these something crazy!), beach volleyball in the mornings, boogie boarding and wave surfing in the ocean, zip lining and rapelling, and lots of lunch and dinner dates with my people.
Thanks again to all of my supporters, who I could never have done this without, and to everyone who has been praying for my squad and I over these past 11 months! The Lord has done more than I ever could have imagined, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to serve in so many different ministries, with squadmates and teammates who displayed the Father’s love so beautifully along the way.
