It was early February when I finally answered. It was clearer than ever. God’s call to go out and give back to the world. “Go now and fill them up with the tools I’ve given you.”

People hear God in all different ways. For me, my primary communication has been through this undeniable gut instinct He gives me. Where there is no gray area, the answer is black and white. Much like the instinct to move back to Hawai’i after college. Much like many other major and day to day decisions in my life. Many times I will wake up with this epiphany and the answer to the question I’ve been asking becomes obvious. I often feel like I can hear my purpose more clearly in nature; like at the ocean, jungle, or mountains.

I will be traveling to Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. I will be spending 11 months in 11 countries on the World Race and I can’t wait! I will be leaving my fastpaced realtor island life for a slower more meaningful life dedicated to giving back to others and living out of a backpack and tent or hut. We will have a different ministry in each country, ranging from spending time with orphans to  teaching English to praying for people in hospitals to construction work.

So with that I say- I can use all the support I can get. Whether it be words of encouragement, prayer, or financial support. Thank you all for your love and the impact you’ve already made on my life.

I am stoked to start this journey! Stay tuned for more updates!
