Let me catch you up a bit on the last two months spent in Europe. They were two amazing months, and I wish I had done a better job of keeping you all up to date!
Month 7 was in Serbia. It warmed my heart to be in a place similar to Poland. To hear a similar Slovak language, eat similar food, and to see the kindness in people’s eyes I so often saw in Poland. It reminded me of those 6 years that the Lord used to drastically shape my life. We spent the month at a summer camp, helping behind the scenes to keep the camp running effectively.
We also helped build a low ropes course for future camps.
Month 8 was spent in Pitesti, Romania at Living Hope Church. I got to spend this month doing what I would love to continue doing long after the race. We joined the church in ministering to the kids from a couple of ghetto neighborhoods as well as encouraging a small homeless community.
We took two different groups of kids up into the mountains of Romania for a three day camp. They got to explore the outdoors and see more green than they ever have before. Some of my team shared their testimonies and we showed them the love of Jesus in the time we spent with them.

We also drank lots of (necessary) coffee both of these months!
These are pictures I got from my teammate, Melanie’s, phone. My phone was stolen in Romania and I lost a lot of great photos from both months :(. So, thank you Mel, and thank you supporters!
More to come soon about Asia!
