Fall colors are my favorite. And they’re a thing in Japan. I’m such a happy camper.
And we’d never have them anywhere if nothing ever changed.
I used to hate change with a passion. I’d fight it, complain about it, or pretend it wasn’t happening.
But the World Race has changed my mind a bit. And by that I mean I’ve come to love change the way I love Christmas.
In this first season of the Race, I’ve lived in four different cultures, two different time zones, nine different homes/hostels, and with four different sets of people. I’ve done more types of ministry than my jet lagged brain can count.
Change was God’s theme for my month in Colombia, and this past week everything possible has changed.
I got a new team that I instantly fell in love with,
We got new coaches who are already like stand-in parents,
New squad leaders were raised up,
And then we were on three continents and four time zones in three days.
Everything has changed and I love it.
I’m tired of being the same; God has had something huge waiting for me for four long months, and I’m finally saying yes to it. I’m not scared of it anymore.
In just the past two weeks I already feel like a totally different person, but I know this is only the beginning. I can’t wait to see what’s about to happen in Asia.
I still need $4286 by December 31st! If 85 people donate $50, I’ll be fully funded! Click the “Support Me” link to help keep me on this journey!
