As a parent of a world racer, you have many concerns about your child’s health and safety. I knew that Christmas without my daughter would be difficult, however getting a phone call from AIM the Sunday before Christmas telling me that my daughter was having stroke symptoms, struck me with pure panic. There I was facing one of my biggest fears. That phone call brought me to my knees in prayer. Lily then called me. I have to say that hearing my daughter’s voice was such a blessing. Hearing her faith and trust in God as her healer, gave me such peace. I can see how much Lily has grown spiritually since she has been on the World Race. Her commitment to God and helping others is so inspiring. During the health crisis, my daughter kept telling me that she was going to be okay, that God was with her during all of her episodes. Even though I could not be with Lily, her Heavenly Father was right there holding her hand.

The Unseen Hand – God laid this Song on my heart – what peace he brought to my soul as I began to sing and praise God for all he has done. My faith has grown during during this situation. God our healer. Jehovah Rapha! Our family is so blessed with family, friends, church, and community that will come together in time of need and lift you up in prayer. I am thankful to AIM for getting Lily the best medical care possible and always having someone there to care for her. God is good always!
