Throughout my time in Costa Rica, the Lord has been calling my team, warriors. As the new year has come in I’ve been reflecting on what that word means for my team. So this blog is you girls. The Lord has called each of you warriors and this is what the Lord sees in each of you.
Amy McWilliams:
You are an empowered woman of God. You embody what it looks like to constantly be searching for the Lord in everyplace your in and in everyone you see. You fight for people to see what the Lord sees in each of them and show them the perfect masterpiece the lord is creating in them. You declare victory over every battle and know the true power of grace. You are a warrior who fights to make the unseen seen.
Hannah Acevedo:
You are a woman of integrity and wisdom. You carry the power of the Lords boldness and joy. You bring peace to any storm and make known what is not of the Lord to ensure it’s presence be destroyed the moment it starts to creep into our lives. You see the wars that are being fought all around us and bring us all together to help and support one another’s battles. You give us encouragement and create tangible ways for us to support everyone around us. You are a warrior who fights for peace and justice.
Ashlynn Kinnett:
You embody each characteristic of what a woman of God should look like. You are a reflection of the lords joy and abundance. You constantly see the big picture of what the Lord is doing in our lives and have the eyes to see that the battles we go through are necessary for what the lord is molding us to be. That he puts us in the fire again and again to refine us and make us stronger. That through undying trust in him everything will work for our good. You are a warrior who fights for a higher perspective and sees the beauty of fire and pain.
Brittany Anderson:
You are a reflection of the Lords power and protection. You are a loud voice of truth and authenticity for our team. You understand the power words bring to people around you and how to use them to motivate and heal. You talk about the hard things and create a space of safety and love to those around you. You are a warrior who fights for safety and strength.
Samantha Grady:
You are the reflection of the lords uniqueness and emotions. You show the sensitive spirit the Lord has and how what we do and say affect everything and everyone around us. You are a warrior who fights for love and sensitivity.
You are all warriors. You defend, love, and trust in the name of the Lord and spread it amongst the nation. I will always fight with you and most importantly I will always fight for you.
Love you all!

P.S. I read this blog to my team during our midway debrief and they told me that I needed a word for me. As well as add whatever word that was in my blog. So, I had my teammate, Ashlynn, do one for me.

You are the calm in the storm. You lead with meekness and confidence. You are bold and strong, but also sweet and gentle. You never settle for what is on the outside, instead you will fight until you can see what lies on the inside. You strive to see the heart behind every situation. You are a warrior who fights to bring peace and harmony into the lives of the ones you love.
