Before I even start this blog post I just want to say thank you to everyone who is supporting me through donation and prayer. I have always had a hard time asking for help from others and this process has definitely stretched me to learn how to ask people to help support me. You guys are seriously the best.
Well, this week is officially my last week of anything that has to do with high school. On Tuesday I graduate high school and I cannot wait. These last four years have been a complete roller coaster and I couldn’t have had a better community of people to have experienced it with. As I have been preparing to get ready for graduation, I have been seeing how much more real this trip is becoming and I cannot wait. I am so excited about the new world and opportunities that await on the other side of it.
GEAR UPDATE! As of today, I have my backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, mess kit, mosquito net (thank god!!!), and my shoes. Thank you all for the donations that made all of that possible. I do, however, still need some more gear to make this trip possible! I’ll have my wishlist links posted below
