Hello everyone!!!! The praises were sung and hallelujah’s were said for today I am #FULLYFUNDED!!!!

I thought this would be a nice time to talk a little bit about the journey of fundraising. Honestly it was very difficult for me. I grew up in a mindset where I thought, if I wanted something… I needed to work hard to get it. The whole idea of raising almost 17 grand in a year and a half… there’s NO way I could have done that on my own. Yet, I still tried.

My summer was spent working over sixty hours a week, along with taking any little side job I could. Along with coming up with any fundraiser I could get my hands on. I was going to do anything I could to get where I am now. Then I left America.

The whole fact of letting go and trusting Him with finances, very foreign to me. Though time after time the Lord would move me to tears with His goodness in that same topic and so many others.

There’s no way that I could be here financially, on my own accord. There’s no way that I could spend hours and hours playing and singing with children of different tongues, on my accord. There’s no way I could be completely enamored with a single book that keeps me forever on my toes, on my own accord. There’s just NO way.

How truly honored and humbled I feel to be currently sitting on a bench in the middle of no where in Southeast Asia. AND the fact that all of you at home are supporting me, praying for me, loving me, and loving the Lord the way you all are. I have goosebumps! Abba, our father, is SO good.

I just want to thank you all for endorsing what the Lord is doing abroad and for all the prayers for my squad, team, and I. Additionally, thank you all for encouraging me to trust in Him. Just know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Sing praises, for the Lord is good and Jesus has been birthed today!!!

Much Love,

Lil
