Just arrived at our ministry location in Guatemala. We are about 2 hours from Antigua, Guatemala (quaint little colonial city). We drove up and down hills and finally arrived in a cute little tourist town. I am excited about these last four weeks or so. Our contact Ben seems so real and genuine and I am looking forward to learning a lot from him.
My new team Sequoia will be united for the rest of the month. All seven it should be a challenging but growing experience. The race is coming to an end. In about a month I will be on a plane to Dallas to finish this up. I find that my heart is not ready to go home. It’s fallen in love with this simple lifestyle, the way every morning it doesn’t seem costly to have to time with the Lord and life isn’t a rush to do one thing or another.
I am considering a few things for after the race, I would love for you to partner with me in prayer to see where the Lord guides me. Here are the places I am considering (not in any order):
- Internship at Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington
- Internship at Fisherwick in Belfast, N. Ireland
- Bethel School in Atlanta, Georgia
- Community in Denver
- Community in Arkansas
- Leading a Real Life trip (2-4months) in India or C.America
- Going back to Central America for a at least a year
Please keep these in prayer as I will have to start making decisions in the next few months about where to go.
Thanks to everyone that has supported me thus far 🙂
