I need about $1,594 to make my Oct. 31st deadline, in 9 days.
I wanted to let everyone know where I’m at on this. Praise Jesus, I am at $9,061. I still need about $2,000 to reach my $11,000 deadline on Oct 31st. I have been told that this is a hard deadline and if I’m not there I will be sent home. I appreciate everyone’s support thus far. It goes a long way; every dollar, every cent even, helps me get that much closer to my goal.
I love what I’m doing. I feel like I have come alive on this trip. God has been working through me and in me. I have changed. I’m simply not the person I used to me. Praise the Lord for that because I don’t think I really liked myself before. I wasn’t selfish but I was compassionate. I didn’t give with my whole heart. I’m not there yet, but I feel like I have made progress. I have sat with the widow and the orphan and its opened my eyes. It’s had nothing to do with me and everything about them.
