African Church is an adventure! So this past Sunday, we were honored to visit a different church then the one our host family attends. We went to a church they had pastored before moving to Mbagala. The day went like this:
 
6:30am – Woke up
6:45 – Waited for bathroom
6:55 – Brushed Teeth & washed face
7:15 – Ate Breakfast (was late)
7:30 – Waited to leave for church
7:40 – Left house to get bus
7:45 – Hurried in the rain to bus
8:00 – Got on second bus
8:45 – Arrived at Church
9:15 – tried to take nap
9:30 – Church service started
11:00 – Was asked to move to front row of church
11:15 – Chad asked me if his ear was bleeding
12:00 – Had Brother Hope translate preaching
1:30 – Church ended
1:40 – Youth Announcements begin
2:00 – Lunch at Brother Hope’s house
3:30 – Back at church
3:45 – Late to service because I was called to an interesting conversation
4:00 – We all take turns doing A&Q with the youth
5:15 – Almost died of awkwardness teaching about HIV/AIDS
6:00 – Leave the church
7:30 – Eat dinner
 
What a day!!
