We left Lutsk today. It feels like its been a long winded goodbye. Nothing bad, just a lot of rushing, a lot of packing and just a lot of everything, but time with the Lord and time serving.
I’m sitting on the top bunk of our train compartment on our way to Bucarest, Romania its supposed to be a 29 hour train ride from Kiev. Now to those of you who know your geography must be asking why did you go to Kiev intstead of getting on a train from Lutsk to Bucarest (yes I know the likely of you knowing Ukrainian geography is slim to none) but anywho It rained a lot and flooded so we had to take the long way around. On the upside we met up with most of our squad!! Five of our teams are on the train. Its been pretty great.
We will be working in a Gypsy villages with team Lovesick and it was great getting to know them by hanging out and laughing on the train. For me at least I got to hang out and talk to a lot of people that I hadn’t really spoken with. Makes it easier to call all 52 of us family 🙂
The train was supposed to be really long because of a scheduled 5 hour maintenance, in the early morning. It was kind of weird to feel the whole boxcar lift up a few feet in the air. I was dealing a lot internally on the train. I had been feeling a little off with my team. I wasn’t really liking the ways things were going. I didn’t feel a lot of love for all of them. I mean there are a few people on the  team I clicked with and talk to, but I was having a hard time relating to the others and just not feeling a part of the team. But God takes care of everything and just expects us to praise him. So I did. I spent an hour or so (while I waited for the bathroom to open up, they closed it for the whole maintenance experience) worshipping God on my bunk. It was AWESOME. Worship is the key this month. Look for the blog post about it!!
