As a squad we all decided to regroup and we went to Jinja, Uganda. It was amazing, for three days I got to spend time with my whole squad in particular my old team L’Chaim! I also saved and pushed my budget so I could go white water rafting up the nile and bungee jump. It was probably way cheaper than the states, but still I don’t have the personal budget to do a lot of stuff on our off days.
The nile rafting was awesome. I saw God’s hand in the way nature is so perfect. How the right amount of water and rocks can create beautiful homes for small critters. The sunset was soo lovely and I just felt at peace. True peace. No worries because everything was in God’s hands. Even though I would get really nervous before we entered the rapids (including levels 5 & 6) I wasn’t scared when I fell in. I would be underwater I knew with every fiber of my being that I was okay. My daddy had me, he would take care of me. It was thrilling and it helped my faith grow so much.

The next day I went bungee jumping. It took a bit of convincing, but I actually jumped. I almost backed out, but I bent my knees and fell over! Sorta. I will try to post the video soon…That moment I had to literally give my fear to God. I had to completely trust him with my life and with my mind. I don’t know if that makes any sense. But I knew God would take care of me 100%.

The free fall was the most amazing, exhilarating portion of the jump. I loved it, my fear left me. I’d do it again.  But that experience has really brought me to where I am, right now. Not just learning to trust God, but actually trusting him. You see sometimes I still get a little anxious especially when it comes to support raising. I still worry that I will be sent home, that I wont be able to finish…

I was told yesterday that I have until the Oct. 31st to raise $2,000. I need to be $11,000 and I will be at $9,012. I know that he will do amazing things! If you feel lead to give, please do so on the left-hand side under Support Me! If want to speak to me about becoming a monthly supporter you can message me on the left-hand side as well.

Thanks so much everyone!!
