Hi!

I
am so excited to share with you about my life and of course the WORLD
RACE! (The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 countries. I will be joining the June 2010 group that will travel to Ireland, Ukraine, Romania, Israel, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda, Cambodia, Thailand and two other countries determined while abroad.) This blog will focus on God and what he is doing in my life and the
lives of those I encounter. It will also keep you up-to-date on which areas my team and I might need prayer in and how my support raising is going. I hope this will encourage, inspire and
ultimately challenge you to be all you can be in Christ. At times we
find ourselves in difficult situations (but we can do all things
through Christ) some of those situations we’ve created ourselves, mostly out of disobedience (ask me
how I know =/ ). I can’t promise to steer you onto the right path only
the Holy Spirit can. I can promise you to be honest and open about my experiences. Hopefully you can read along and learn with me on this Race…so on that note WELCOME!

A Little About Me
My name is Liliana Mejia, you can call me Lili.
I am 20 and will be turning 21 in February.
I’m pretty introverted until you get to know me and then I’m…less introverted and more crazy.
I find myself hilarious and witty. My sister calls me dorky. She’s not mature enough to understand my, ahem, subtle humor =D
I don’t particularly like labels, but I use them all the time >sheepish grin< For example…
I’m a city girl. I was born in Los Angeles moved to Denver in middle school and for the past year or so I’ve been in Houston, TX.
I tend to over-analyze conversations, body language, really just about everything.
I love Berry, Berry Good ice cream from Coldstone Creamery. Guess what’s in it?! Berries!!
My grandpa is a retired pastor whose life has been an inspiration to me and my family. He is like our patriarch. =)
I don’t take risk. The fact that I signed up for the World Race is an act of God all by itself!!!
My mommy is a nurse whose passion and compassion for people knows no bounds and must come from God.
I love cheese!! Quisadillas, enchiladas, nachos, tostadas, papusas….I love Hispanic Food!!
My dad is a hard working man of God whose testimony is mind-boggling.
