Dear Friends,
I feel honored to be able to share with you a few ways God has been moving in my heart recently and a bit about how you can be part of a new adventure with me. For about 3 years now I have been involved in a college ministry called Destino in which a number of students have come to know and receive Christ in their heart, as well as many more students have been able to grow in their faith. In addition to Destino, last summer I was able to travel to Ecuador to minister to college students. Although this mission trip was only 5 weeks, the impact that this trip left to both Ecuadorians and my team exceeds any expectations we had. In fact, a few of the Ecuadorians that I continue to have contact with constantly share with me how their spiritual life has radically changed as a result of those summer days. This mission trip is also where I fell in love with doing God’s work full time.
Now, almost a year later, after much prayer and consideration, I once again have the opportunity to do full time ministry beginning January 2016. However, this ministry is aimed at a new demographic that I am just as passionate about. The World Race is an 11-month mission trip to 11 countries serving the needs of the community and sharing God’s unconditional love for the world. My team and I will be partnering with local churches and ministries to preach the Gospel, work in orphanages, lead VBS, reconstruct building and minister to women and children who are trapped in sex trafficking. Through variety acts of service and love, we will be able to shine a light on who God is and how much He cares for every one of us.
I am very excited, grateful and humbled to be taking part in “The World Race” as part of Adventures in Missions and I am confident that God will provide for every need in order to make this trip possible. Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you. I am writing to you to ask if you would join me on this adventure by partnering with me through prayer and financial support. I must raise about $16,500 in order to make this trip happen. This covers my lodging, meals, and airfare for the entire year. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donation, wherein you choose the amount then a beginning and end date. If 50 people pledge $30 a month for 12 months (or a one time donation of $300), I would have 100% of the funds necessary for my trip. I am confident that together, we will be able to make a lasting impact of God’s Kingdom and that this mission trip will not only be a blessing to myself, and to those I will be serving, but also to you.
