Hi! My name is Lila. I live in San Jose and will soon be graduating from San Jose State University where I have loved working with Destino, a Christ-centered community passionate about connecting Latinos to God and others. I will be graduating in a BA in Chemistry and minor in Biology (God can do whatever He wants with that). I live for God and adventures, so when I started thinking about The World Race, my mind was blown away. What I’m most excited about doing on the Race is showing others love in a variety of ways; from sharing smiles with kids, working hard remodeling schools/churches/homes, to talking with all the different people around the world. “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Cor. 13:13

Random thoughts:
My real name isn’t Lila. (If you want to know what it is, you’re going to have to ask.)
I’m awkward and I’d have it no other way
I love being out in nature, mountains, oceans and sunsets are my absolute favorite, mainly because it’s a constant reminder of how BIG my God is.
Random calls/texts/emails/messages/mail put a smile on my face any day.
One-on-One’s is where it’s at, love talking with people.
Whenever I type an emoji, I ACTUALLY am making that face (or at least my version of it)
