I am thrilled to announce that I am officially FULLY packed and FULLY FUNDED!! Hallelujah!
This morning is my last one at home. I am leaving tomorrow!! In a matter of hours, I will be heading down to my sisters, so I can board a plane for Atlanta tomorrow morning. I’ll be in Atlanta for a few days, and then my Squad and I will all board our plane(s) for South Africa.
I’ll spend my first month on the coast in South Africa, near Port Elizabeth. Whoop whoop! I have already been creeping on the location, and it looks awesome. I can’t wait. (:
I could not have done this without you! Thank you so much for all the prayers for me as I left my job, got the rest of my gear, and packed a year of my life into a 68L bag. Also, a huge SHOUT OUT to everyone who financially supported me. THANK YOU! I am now 100% funded. Wow. I have few words…. Except that you are all cool. Thank you for listening to the Spirit’s promptings. Thank you for being on my team at home. Thank you for believing in me! Know that I carry you with me, and that I go on this for you too. This is also YOUR ministry. For the next 11 months, you and I get to impact the lives of people in 12 countries all around this world. How awesome is that!?
I am excited to get on the plane tomorrow, and to make this thing real. I am excited to meet up with my Squad and Teammates in Georgia. It will be so good to do life with them again.
If you were hoping we would have a chance to visit one more time before I left, or have phone call or any of those things. I am truly sorry it didn’t work out. Time was limited this past month. I am still tying up a few loose ends this morning. Know that I do care about you, and that we will still be friends when I get back. (:
