Playing catch-up with the blogs again because of rough internet connections… forgive me!
During the month of December, Team Love partnered with a local church in Phnom Penh, Cambodia called Good News Wesleyan Methodist Church, where we taught four English classes in the evenings, ranging from 2 students in a class to over 75. We also painted the church during the day, including a mural for one of the classrooms; gave teachings for the Sunday School and Youth Group; and played all-out, do-or-die dodgeball with the youth. (Yes, in case you were wondering, dodgeball qualifies as ministry.) Working with the youth was an enormous blessing. Many of them have been effectively shunned by their families because of their decision to follow Christ. Their bravery and passion for Jesus has increased my faith. They remind me that nothing in this world can compare to living life with Jesus.
