We’re halfway there!

This week we officially passed the halfway mark! My Race is half over! It’s a weird feeling to be sure, I don’t even feel like the same girl that filled out the application in December 2012. These past five and a half months have been incredible, I’ve had some truly life changing experiences. I’ve gotten to share God’s love to college students in China, learn what it means to be a true prayer intercessor in Thailand, experience all the ways God is moving in Cambodia, shown the real meaning of Christmas to Muslims in Malaysia, and learned how to live an intentional, Spirit-led life in Japan. I’ve climbed waterfalls and been to the depths of caves. I’ve seen Angkor Wat and the Great Wall. I’ve ridden an elephant, clung to a bamboo raft on a river, and been to beautiful beaches. I’ve played with street kids, chatted with monks, and talked to girls trapped in human trafficking. I’ve made countless friends with people from every walk of life, beggars, tuk-tuk drivers, international travellers, business men, hostel owners, and restaurant workers. I’ve shared my testimony and worshiped with believers in other languages. I’ve eaten amazing new foods (and maybe even a grasshopper or two!).  I’ve learned and grown so much and can’t wait to see what the next five and a half months bring.

Also, if you haven’t noticed, I’m fully funded! Just in time for my final deadline- Jehovah Jireh, God always provides. I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all my supporters. Thank you for living such an obedient, generous life. You have inspired me so much with your willing hearts. Without you this amazing journey I’m on would not have been possible. You truly are impacting the Kingdom in ways you can’t even imagine. God is using the money you gave to spread His love and touch people all over the world. You are an incredible part of God’s story and I truly cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
