Well I am finally on the World Race! It has already been blowing my mind. We are staying in San Juan, in the Dominican Republic right now. Our accommodations are nice (the nicest we’ll have, I hear) My team, which includes me and five other girls, is working with children in the countryside. I could not be more excited about this!! Today we went to the school and participated in PE class and then went around to the classes just to kind of feel out what the kids already knew about Jesus and to explain to them why we were there. By the end of the day, one little girl was squeezing me while repeating “te amo” which means “I love you.” It was so precious. I also painted some little girls’ toenails. Those that know me well know that I hate feet, but today, I didn’t mind.
God is also stretching me so much. The church that we are a part of this month is definitely outside of my comfort zone, so please pray for me in that.
All in all, it blows my mind every day that God has given me this incredible blessing of going on this journey. I look out my window in the morning at the gorgeous mountains all around me, and I cannot get over how incredibly awesome God is. I can’t believe this is my life. Thank you so much to those of you who continue to support me both prayerfully and financially. I will have much more to update you on once we get a little more into our ministry. If you would like to pray specific things for me, please pray for wisdom, and patience. Most importantly, I desperately want to grow as much as I can in Christ every day. Thank you all for everything. Much love to all of you. Videos coming soon!
