Dear Stranger,
I want to say thank you. Thank you for being so obedient to our God that you’re willing to give something of such value to me, a perfect stranger. The tears that well in my eyes and the chills I get every time you come up to me and hand me a five, ten, twenty or a hundred, aren’t purely out of gratitude (although I am SO incredibly grateful.) The reason I respond that way is because when I started this I knew that if God wanted me to go, He would provide. I decided to jump and leave everything else up to Him.
So, stranger, every time I see you, whether you’re just a kid, or a woman in passing who happened to see my prayer card, or a friend of a friend of a friend, I see Jesus in you. I get chills because I feel like Jesus is literally handing me the money. I am overwhelmed. He is taking care of all the details and making a way so that I can run after Him like I never have before. He is doing that through you and I am exceedingly grateful. Your walk with Christ is evidenced in your obedience. I am so blessed by your willingness to let Him use you to bless someone you don’t know. You may never know how much that meant to me, but still I wanted to tell you. Thank you.
