AMERICA… GET OUT YOUR BANDAIDS…
I just spent my night on a cold, windy beach… snuggled into a cozy warm fire burning into the ease of the black sea horizon. There sat a handful of parasitic World Racers, feasting on warmth and good conversation. As the fire burned, we pulled out a flaming, embered branch in the shape of a “Y”. We began to play a question game where Each person holding the stick must ask a “why” question to the group.
One such question struck a chord in me that I don’t really like feeling. It’s a deep one.
Why do we not call things by their true names?
why is “gossip” not called SLANDER?
why is an “affair” not called ADULTERY?
why is “abortion” not called MURDER?
why is an “alternative lifestyle” not called SODOMY?
For the Generations that are wanting to be changed by God and live a life that will show others the same is possible for their lives…
START LIVING YOUR LIFE IN THE REALITY OF YOUR ACTIONS!!!!
HERE’S THE DEAL. Our God is NOT God of condemnation… our sin does that for us. Instead, He wants OUR salvation!!!

We are born from a culture that dances around the truth of their actions. Mid-term abortions that dismember living babies before birth is MUCH easier talked about over dinner when you label it with a clinical phrase. The latest buzz about Sally Sue is way more fun to speak about if it’s not printed on the daily paper with your signature under the article. Affairs are less destructive when we categorize them with a comedy-drama movie that never really ends in the destruction that sex outside of marriage leaves in families and lives of the children born from it.
Jesus followers. Let’s stop living life by a fake vocabulary. Let’s start living life in the freedom that Jesus paid for… let that be the courage for us to own up to our actions, to the actions of our children, siblings, parents and families, to the actions of our nation, to our actions as God’s children.
So, here’s my plea. Live life. Mess up big knowing there is a Big God with some Big Grace that has always desired your messy life to join into His own.“No guilt of life, no fear in death. This is the power of Christ in me”. HAVE NO FEAR IN BEING REAL. Nobody wants to follow a movement that isn’t realistic and is based on a facade! Embrace the reality of our world in the real terms knowing that grace is big enough to cover the reality of our actions.
Let’s be a people that...
