This month is an ATL (ask the Lord) month and we are
in….

…..Budapest, Hungary!!!

Back in
Uganda we were told we would have the opportunity to choose between six
different countries in Eastern Europe, and we ended up feeling like Hungary was
where we needed to be for the month of October.

We arrived here a couple of days ago and already I’m in love
with this place.  The architecture,
the people, just the energy here – what can I say, I’m 100% city girl and it
feels good to be in a big city again!
We are staying in a hostel right in the middle of the city (yes, all
seven of us are crammed in one room!).
We have no official contact this month, which means we find our own
ministries.  We’ve tossed around
several different ideas, including homeless ministry, coffee shop “evangelism”
(I really don’t like that word, but I don’t know what else to call it), hanging
out with university students, and possibly even some sort of street art
ministry.  Essentially, my goal for
this month is to meet people and form friendships with them.  I want it to feel natural and normal,
like real life, as opposed to other ministries we’ve done in the past that felt
a little more forced and awkward.
I just have a love for people in general and a desire to know them and
show them the love of Christ.
Hopefully they will see something different in me and develop an
interest in what my life is about.

I can’t wait to see who God places in our path this
month.  He has already answered
several prayers just in the past couple of days we’ve been here!  Please join with us in praying that He
will lead us to the right places and people this month!

****Sidenote: I still
need about $900 to finish the Race.
