at my job we do these things called “lollipop moments” and it’s basically when you acknowledge a person and show gratitude to them for something that they’ve done for you or for a moment the two of you have shared. tonight, i wanted to have a lollipop moment for my gap year family. this is for you guys:

although we haven’t met, i’m grateful for every single one of you. i’m thankful that i get to share this next year by y’all’s side and experience life with you. i thank God for your hearts and your laughs and your love. i thank God for the hands i get to hold, and the arms i get to fall into, and the shoulders i get to cry on. i thank God for specifically placing each of us in this squad to help each other grow and learn to love deeper and worship harder. i want to thank you for the moments we have already had: the late night “you got this” texts and every early morning “question of the day”, and for the moments yet to come. every single one of you have a place in my heart and a lollipop with your name on it just waiting for the day (soooooo close) that we meet. i love you all and i can’t wait to love people and love the Lord with you guys too.

many blessing and much love,
