One year ago I had no idea exactly what God had in store for me after high school. I figured he would lead me to college, I would graduate, then God would maybe lead me into the mission field for longer than a ten day trip after that. Good thing His timing is perfect and not mine! I am equally excited as I am terrified to announce I am doing the World Race! Next year I will be taking a year off school, to travel to three continents for Jesus over a nine month period. I will be traveling to Swaziland, India, and Guatemala.
For much of this year I wasn’t sure if Jesus was calling me to WR or not. God showed me many signs, but I tried to deny it. Why leave the comfort of my home for nine months when I don’t need to?
Because Jesus. Because He gave His life for me and the least I can give Him is nine months of mine. Where I learn how to radically and abundantly follow Jesus, holding nothing back. Putting all distractions aside.
