Hello supporters, family, friends, and fans of Lexi! This is her teammate Drew Doyle and I am writing to you about how much I love Lexi and how much of an impact she has had on me!
This Valentines Day since we weren’t spending it with our loved ones at home we decided to choose secret valentines and get them gifts, write them notes, and write a blog for them to post! So here I am, ready to tell you how much I LOVE Alexis Gabrielle Grisanti!
Lexi is one of the most joyful, encouraging, and personable people I know! She has done an incredible job bringing all that to our team over the last 6 months! From the hot humid months of Cambodia when we were strangers trying to figure out how we would do life together, to the month alone on the ranch, and now to our new team! She has shown me a lot about what living a selfless life like Jesus is and how to pursue that more. She lives life to the fullest, laughs as much as she can, and strives to grow and be better in everything she does!
It is so encouraging getting to do life next to Lexi, and I pray all the time that even after we leave the field in a few short months that she will continue being one of my best friends! Even with her being in her southern Tennessee roots and be in my Indianan, I pray that a few hours and a state between us won’t separate the sweet connection of friendship we have.
Lexi, if you know her, can fill a room with happiness and her laugh! She is so much fun and pushed me and our whole team to see the best in all things! She loves deeply and pursues the people and things she wants passionately! And don’t get me started on her relationship with the Lord!!!!! She has such a faith that is so beautiful and she hears and talks to the Lord in such a unique way. Her desire to grow closer to Him and better her relationship is so big and wide and never ceasing. She loves Jesus so much and seeing her do that with her daily life is so special! I feel so blessed to be able to call Lexi and teammate and a friend!
So on this Valentines Day Lexi is my sweet, precious valentine! I am so so so thankful for her and who she is! If you don’t know her personally, you should change that because she has been a huge part of my growth over the race. She will love you like a sister (or brother) and treat you like Jesus would-giving up anything and everything she has to help. She is so kind and gentle but also so extremely bold with her faith and who she is in Christ! Lexi is a good one, and I feel blessed I am able to call her my So(u)l Sister!!!!
Love you LEX!!!!! If you would like to read the blog Lexi wrote about her valentine go to;
