Last year, I started getting the feeling that I was meant to do something a little bit different after high school. Throughout the past few years, people have been telling me that it is okay that I don’t know what I want to do, or even where I want to go to school. They told me that it would all work out and I would find the school that I am meant for. Even though I did not decided on a four-year university, they were right. When I read about the World Race, it feels like everything has fallen into place and God has a plan for me. I have a lot of mixed emotions about the next few months. As an important chapter in my life comes to a close, I am full of many different emotions. I love my friends, family, and life that I get to experience every single day, but I am beyond excited for my next adventure. The first part of my journey on the race is my preparation. The biggest challenge that I am facing through preparation is fundraising. I am so thankful for the support I have gotten from my friends and family as I have told people about my plan for the next school year. This coming year, I will be blogging about different aspects of my journey, and I am excited to share with everyone!
