Over the past month I have realized that there is virtually nothing that isn’t able to be transported via moped. Up until SE Asia I assumed (like most Americans) that mopeds were to be used to transport 2 people and maybe a backpack or two. Now I understand the versatility of these 2-wheeled chameleons.
The things you can transport via moped: (Trust me I have personally witnessed all of these)
Life sized llama piñatas
Full sized stoves
3 people if adults- up to 5 if including children
Fully grown Trees
Boxes stacked higher that their head
20 metal cages
Queen sized mattresses
60″ TV’S
Chicken cages with live chickens in them
Car windshields- at least 4 at a time
At least 3 sacks of rice
Oil drums- up to 3
An entire backyard worth of grass and plants
At minimum a 20′ ladder
7 propane tanks
4 microwave ovens
5 truck tires
Multiple balloon bouquets
50′ construction I beams-typically used for a building’s structure
Industrial sized fan
Window wall 8’x3′
At least 700 rolls of toilet paper
High chairs to transport small children
Scaffolding
Mopeds make perfect:
Family vehicles, who needs a sedan with carseats?
Wedding transortation, just make sure the wedding dress doesn’t get caught in the wheel.
Delivery vehicles, just bolt a box to the backseat and your pizza is on it’s way!
