Month one has come to an end. I’m sitting in my beautiful room at Old Vic Traveler’s Inn in Nelspruit (pronounced Nelsprait) and am feeling incredibly blessed.
Blessed to have…
spent the last month with some amazing men and women of God.
the next 10 months with them.
internet to be able to talk to and see my family back home.
the support system of my church family at RedArrow.
Cadbury chocolate.
fresh fruit and veggies.
so much that goes unappreciated daily.
Each of the blessings that I have felt and received have been a well thought out, perfectly placed, and intentional gifts from God.
This past month was hard, God brought up some pain from the past. He showed me that the pain that I thought I had walked through and healed from was still there. Meaning the enemy was still able to use it against me. After revealing all of this to me, He showed me what true healing from God looks like.
For me it looks like freedom; unimaginable growth; using those aspects of my personality that the enemy kept quiet for so long to God’s glory; confidence in my identity as a daughter of the one true King; and a peace that comes with the knowledge that no matter what pain or struggle I am going through, God is there, I just have to look for Him.
So that brings me back to feeling blessed. No matter what part of your life you are in, God is with you. No matter if He is bringing up old pain or walking you through a new struggle, He is there. All you have to do is look for Him.
And let me tell you once you find Him, He will bring you healing, joy, and a peace unlike anything you have ever felt before. God is there, you are not alone, and He wants to heal and protect you.
Don’t believe me? Check out Psalm 47.
God Bless!
