So, let’s talk about fundraising.
If I’m honest with you guys about fundraising.. IT. IS. HARD.
It is completely out of my comfort zone to ask people for money.
Sometimes it can be super awkward.
People ask weird questions and I don’t always know how to answer them properly.
I get tongue tied.
And I get scared.
One of the most amazing things I am learning through is process is that I cannot raise this much money.
It is not possible.
I don’t have the words to say.
Or know the right things to do.
But Jesus is sovereign over this situation.
All things are possible with Him.
Even raising $12,488.
He provides for all my needs.
Including the financial ones!
The generosity of people so far has truly overwhelmed me.
Some of my donors don’t even know me personally.
Some of them are my dearest friends and family.
There’s one common thing between them all.
They give their money generously and willingly.
And they know I have nothing to give them in return.
But they still love me anyway.
