Hi!
My name is Alexis Johannessen. I’m 18 years old and I currently live in a small coastal town in North Carolina called Beaufort. I graduated from high school in June of 2013 and was homeschooled K-12. I recently finished taking my first session of college classes from Liberty University online and loved it. I am so excited to go on the World Race: Gap Year and am amazed at all that God is already teaching me through this experience.
Here are some random facts about me:
I come from a family of 5.
I am the oldest of 3 siblings.
I have a 20 pound cat named Stripes who I love dearly.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are my weakness.
I started riding horses when I was 7 and have been in love with it ever since.
I like lots of different kinds of music.
I went on a month long missions trip to Guatemala in 2012 and loved it.
One time (in Guatemala) I jumped off a 25ft waterfall.
