God has raised over $11,000 for this trip. That blows my mind. It shows me a picture of how wonderfully faithful He is. It is a great example of how He provides when you walk in His will. But I feel like God said to me today that it’s time for me to get honest with you guys. So now I’m going to be open and be vulnerable to you…
All that is left to fund raise is $1,419. And I’m terrified about it. My third and final deadline is on August 22 and it is non-negotiable. If I do not get $1,419 more in my account by that date I don’t get to go on the World Race. That’s really scary to say, but it is the truth. I already told you I felt that God told me to get vulnerable with you. I also feel like He told me something else.
When I get nervous, anxious, or even fearful about fundraising or about this trip God says to me: I am here to help you.
” For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” -Isaiah 41:13
God is my helper and provider. HE takes hold of my hand, castes out my fear, and gives me His help. Every time I start to feel overwhelmed by this last bit of money for this trip I remind myself of this life changing truth.
