Hello!

My Name is Levi Corbett.

I am 21 years old, I was born in Las Cruses New Mexico. I moved to Colorado when I was 5 and have been here ever since! I live in A town called Florissant, Its located in the middle of the Rocky mountains.

I was raised in an amazing family! I was brought up in A christian home and became A follower of Christ at A young age. I have A mother and Father, as well as 3 siblings! Two older brothers and a younger sister(I am number 3). My Father is A mechanical engineer, and my Mother is A nurse. My oldest Brother Nick, just out of the Marines, The second oldest brother Daniel, is in ministry in Colorado springs. My little sister Jessica, is on a journey to discover what she wants to do in life at the moment.

what are my passions? Why am I doing this? What is my personality?

                                                Whats with the fork?

I love to Dance! I have been dancing for 8 years and my style is hip hop. I also love nature! I feel it brings me closer to God. So naturally I backpack, and what better place than Colorado! Blacksmithing Is also Something I enjoy greatly!

For all of my life I have always imagined that I would travel, and their is absolutely no better way to see Gods creation than by spreading his love around the world. I feel him calling me to adventure! So here I go, first step of A thousand right!

I am very much A thinker. I constantly think and ponder on anything and everything! I extremely enjoy stimulating and deep conversation. But truly, one of the reasons I am going on the World Race is to find where I belong and who I am.

Why keep the fork? Because the best is yet to come, let me explain. Their was A woman who was diagnosed with A terminal illness. She only had 3 months to live. So she went to her pastor and spoke about the songs and verses she wanted at her funeral. After the two of them spoke of the rest of the matters she had one last request. She looked up, smiled and said”I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand” the pastor was shocked and befuddled by the request. he asked ” why A fork?”. The women explained that when she was little, she used to go to dinner parties and social gatherings and her Grandmother who would always say “keep the fork, because the best is yet to come!” Because after every dinner they would have a delicious dessert! Whether it be A scrumptious apple pie or triple chocolate Cake. ” when people walk by my casket I want them to say why the fork?” said the woman. After the 3 months time the woman passed away. At her funeral the pastor did what she wished, and as people walked by they constantly asked the pastor “whats with the fork”? the pastor smiled and replied”Because the best is yet to come”

So the next time you reach down for your fork let it remind you, ever so gently, that the best is yet to come.

This story speaks to me! Our lives are short, but we do not need to fear, because after we pass we will be in infinite glory and peace with the Creator of Existence! But what about the people who have not excepted Christ! This thought scares me, I will  take action! I will minister to all people! Whether it be in A grand building or A dump yard. Because this is a war of salvation! This is eternal warfare! Nothing matters without God! I am called to the battlefield of poverty, sickness, and spiritual death. To show Gods love and to preach his name! So that he may save us from this world from destruction!

Acts 1:8  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

That is what God is commanding me to do! I will travel the world and preach his name!

If God puts it on your heart to support me or pray for me on my trip then please do!
