I survived training camp! I’ve been home for over a week now…I can procrastinate no longer; you have GOT to meet my incredible team….Team SHABACH:
MICHAEL PEREZ: A humble man of God, passionate artist, and our team leader! The contents of God’s heart pours from Michael’s life in the form of art–whether it’s a video, a poem, a photo, a prayer, a post card, a worship song, etc. It’s his intimate way to worship. We’re honored and excited to start this race under his leadership, and praise God for the ways He’s prepared Michael for this position. We’re confident that God will do great things through him on this trip!! 🙂 Would you bless our team by praying for him?

Somehow she manages to carry that flame with a quiet humility–remarkable. She’s got the heart of a true warrior, and she brings that much-needed fire to our team. She’s our finance person–she’ll be tracking our budget on this trip (no small task!) Would you please honor her with prayer as she serves us in this?

I’m not quite sure how I managed to plow through 22 years without knowing Tara. She fills such an important role in this team: FRIEND. Tara is our support system. Just by being in the room, she assures you that you’re not alone. She’s a hand up when you need it, and a pat on the back when no one else was looking. She’s got the gift of acceptance–and it feels GOOD to be next to her. She’s the best friend you never knew you needed. She offers our team unity. Without her, we’d be lacking!
CHELSEA HOFFMAN Oh girl…where do I even start? Chelsea is hand-crafted by God Himself to love people. Need a hug? Her arms are already around you. She lifts people up with kind words, gentle smiles, and a loving touch. She brings compassion to our team, and her heart breaks for the brokenness of others. She’s ALIVE WITH LOVE for God’s people, and she is ready to bring that to the nations! (Yes, God!) Her presence is warm and welcoming, and God’s love has clearly consumed her.
This is my new family! Do you see how each person is crucial to this team? Isn’t it amazing?! You won’t have any trouble learning to love them 🙂 Keep them in your prayers! Thank you for your love and support as God prepares us for what’s ahead! <><
