Dear St. Peter’s Youth,
It’s been a long long year. I can honestly say that I have missed you all in different and unique ways. Over the course of the year, I was always most keenly interested into the happenings in your lives. Let’s just say, I Facebook stalked you all a lot whenever I had internet. From what I gathered, just like me, your year was filled with ups and downs and highs and lows. Regardless of whether you meant it to happen or not, I know you have all grown and changed this year, which honestly is a good thing. I do believe and hope that I have grown and changed too.
My prayer for you all year long was that you would see God in a new and marvelous way. For some of you that meant strife and challenges and for some of you that meant joys and celebrations, but for most of you that simply means a combination of the both. I want to hear about it all.
Hence the purpose of this letter. I will be returning to the Jacksonville area for a short season. One thing being on the Race confirmed in my life is that I have a heart for the nations and feel called away more long term. (More on that later, that’s face to face news). While I’m in Jacksonville, I would be delighted and feel very honored to get to talk to each one of you. I want to catch up one on one. I want to hear about your year. Catch up on every tiny detail, because honestly I find your lives fascinating. And then I can tell you a bit about what’s going on with me as well. Just let me know and we can arrange something.
The countdown until I get home is getting so short indeed; there’s only 14 days left! I can’t wait to see you all.
Lots of Love from New Zealand,
Leslie
Disclaimer: I am eager to meet up with non-St. Peter’s Youth as well. I really do want to hear about everyone’s years. Just send me a message… Facebook, email, a comment on this page… I’ll have a phone too again soon.
