Hello!
I am 24 years old from Virginia. Lately I have been working for the local Community Service Board as a Behavioral Counselor for kids. I have been working in the mental health field since I graduated from college in 2013…so I have some pretty interesting stories.
I lived in the same house growing, in the same little town. It was so small that just to get a breath of freedom I had to go 450 miles away from there for college. It was just my mom, my brother, and I growing up; my dad passed away when I was only 9. My mom is the definition of a super mom. She was strong christian woman that really shaped who I am today.
In my free time I love to be active (take walks, work out, or play a game of softball) or sit around and read a good book. I feel that I am being called into a field that helps people. This may have been why I am an ISFJ with Myers/Briggs; meaning I am factual, dependable, caring, realistic, and helpful. I think I am spiritually gifted in my ability to connect with pther people. A weakness of mine is that I can sometimes overlook the details.
My spiritual journey has been a roller coaster rides…but in all honesty who has a perfect spiritual journey. I struggled for a long time with faith and trust in God, but over the past couple of years I have come to grow closer than ever to God. This year I hope to personally grow closer to God and I hope to learn more about myself.
I was lead to the World Race by Instagram. I was looking at a friends pictures and after poking around the internet I stumbled upon the World Race. As I read more about it and prayed over it, it became clear to me that God was calling me to the World Race. I am definitely worried about the World Race because it is completely different then anything I have ever done. When praying for me you can pray for me to have a faithful heart and a calm soul, while I am on this Journey
