I consider myself somewhat of a pro at fundraising. I've done it for many trips, with many different amounts, and limited time frames. While most people dread it, I have grown to somewhat enjoy it.

Why do I enjoy it? Because I know that people are giving money so that someone else can hear the name of Christ! Yes, it's awkward sometimes and it is hard to ask for money. BUT there are people that tell me all the time that they are so glad that they can give since they can't go. And I love giving them that oppurtunity.

Now back to the me being a pro at fundraising. This trip has knocked me down a couple of notches. We are talking about $15,500!! I've raised maybe a third of that at the most for any other trip I've been on. Let's just say that God is working on me A TON through this. He is teaching me that my effort is nothing compared to his provision. I can work all day and night trying to raise money and without his help,  I am going to come up short.

The only way I will get fully funded is through the Lord. IT WILL ALL BE TO HIS GLORY!

He wants to provide for His children. We just have to step back and let him.

From this point on, I will pray boldly for people who want to be a part of this journey. I will pray boldly for divine appointments to share this story. I will pray boldly for his provision. I hope that you will join me in this prayer.

Now for those of you who are wondering how you can be a part….there are SO many ways.

1. You can simply donate. There are a few ways to do this.

  • To use a debit or credit card: Click the "support me" button on the side of my page and follow the instructions. This can be a one time gift OR a monthly donation until I am fully funded. There is a slight fee to use a credit or debit card and it takes about 3-5 days to completely process into my account. *The processing time is important as I try to reach deadlines.
  • If you would rather write a check and send it in the mail, you can click the "support me" button on the side of my page, and then click on link at the top of the page that will give you instructions of where to send it. The check should be made out to Adventures in Missions with my name in the memo line. There are NO fees for writing a check and this takes about 2 weeks to fully process into my fundraising account.
  • To set up a reoccurring (ex. monthly) donation with no processing fees: you can go to the following website and complete the required fields. (https://www.adventures.org/dynapay) Donations through Dynapay typically take 1-2 weeks to be processed. Donations are withdrawn from the donor’s account on either the 3rd or the 18 of the month. The end date to Dynapay donations should be February 28th, which is my final deadline. If I reach my deadline before this date, I can contact you and you can call donor relations to stop your donations.

?2. You can buy a t-shirt! They are $15 each! These were designed by Rebecca Stephens (http://www.facebook.com/prvs31woman) and printed by The Big Red Fern (http://www.facebook.com/thebigredfern)! If you do not live close, then just send me an email with your order ([email protected]) and I will send you a shirt if you are willing to cover the shipping cost.

3. You can buy a bracelet! I'm kind of in love with these! They are $2 each or 3 for $5! I can also mail these! For the bracelets, I am partnering with an organization called Threads of Hope. I sell the bracelets and keep half of the profit for my trip. Then, I send half back to the families in the Phillipines that make the bracelets! You get to contribute to 2 causes at once!

4. You can eat lunch or dinner at Genghis Grill on July 11! Just tell them you are there for my fundraiser and a portion of the cost for your meal will go to me.

6. You can donate something for me to raffle or auction off. I will be raffling a new Coach purse very soon!

I'm beyond thankful for everyone who has already given and for everyone praying for my trip!

Feel free to email me if you have any questions: [email protected].
