“We have 14 kids and all of our staff is going to be off for Semana de Santa”

This may or may not be the email we got from our new ministry contact, and I would be lying if I wasn’t excited yet filled with complete nervousness. Two days before we got there our “host mom” befriended us on Facebook( she stalked first), and we were able to see pictures of the family and put a face to some of the names.

Our travel day to Legacy of Hope Foundation was long…really long BUT it was totally worth it. This ministry, this family ended up being the best ministry month that I have had thus far on the race. They welcomed us into their family with open arms, allowed us to celebrate holidays, birthdays, first, and a new addition to the family

We were blessed and well loved this month. It was definitely the hardest “see ya later” I have had to make this whole trip.

Please be pray for the Spangler Family and Legacy of Hope Foundation, they are amazing people that know what it means to love from the father. They are wanting to open up new transitio and foster homes all throughout Honduras. Check out their blog and website to see what the Lord is doing in their lives and how you can be praying for them.

We had the honor to make a video for the family that they would be able to share at events in the near future!!
