It's real.

I'm packed.

I've said almost all the goodbyes.

If you look on the World Race website my squad, Q squad, is labeled as a current squad.

It's no longer just a dream.

Yep, it's real.

These two months at home have been a blessing. A time of preparation, rest, and hanging out with people at home who I did not get to spend as much time with while I was at school. They have been filled with laughter, tears and a whirlwind of emotions as I have thought about leaving. But, the waiting is almost over and the next 11 months lay ahead of me. Unknown, inviting me to step out and see what God has in store.

I am beyond excited about this journey. God has invited me to be His hands and feet around the world and is providing in ways I could not have fathomed when I signed up for the Race in November and I know He will continue to wreck my world.

Tomorrow I head to Atlanta, with my parents, where my squad and I will have a few more days of training. Friday afternoon my parents and I will say our final goodbyes for 11 months and Q squad will soon after leave for Thailand.

Please pray for safety for us as we travel. Peace as we leave behind family and friends (and peace for our families as well). Boldness as we share about Christ. And an overflowing of God's love for us onto each other and every individual we meet.

Here's to the next 11 months. I can't wait to share the journey with you!
