We’ve been in Bucharest since September 1st and have done a variety of things.  We’re staying  at Casa Shalom, which used to be an orphanage and is now similar to a summer camp, a place for children to come and have fun and learn about Jesus.   Here are some pictures of kids at the camp that we played with.

These kids stayed here for a few days… this is right before we tucked them into bed.

This is Tatiana, I enjoyed playing with her.  She’s six and had a few siblings come to the camp as well.  They thought her younger sister was deaf and it wasn’t until Becky, the director of Casa Shalom took her to the doctor and found that they’re able to give her hearing aids and now she is beginning to hear.

I talked with Ana  for a while…she speaks about as much English as I do Romanian so conversations are interesting.  She taught me how to count…and I learned a few colors as well.

We also went to a hospital and gave out clothes and prayed for some people and some also recieved Christ.   Here are some pictures and Damaris wrote a great blog about it. Here it is http://damariscontreras.theworldrace.org/?filename=healing-the-sick And all these pictures are from Damaris too.

She picked up some clothes that we were distributing.

This women was in her death bed. All she said is that she wanted to die. She was really sick.

We prayed over her and she recieved Christ and her pain was eased.

We also did other things like clean the grounds of Casa Shalom, organize clothes, prayer walks, minister to people in the park, etc.   Thanks for all of your prayers and support!
