The countdown until training camp is 34 days and launch is 92 days! WHOOP WHOOP!! The excitement is so so so real!!!!
I can humbly say that my life has been chaotic. Most days have been organized chaos 🙂 Recently my life has consisted of wrapping up senior year with final exams and papers, many lasts that made this season quite emotional, working a part time job, graduation/grad parties, fundraising, and spontaneously saying yes to work at Camp Shamineau for the summer.
There has been a lot going on, and just like always the Lord has been so kind to me. Going through the really busy days and all the curve balls that have been thrown at me, I have thankfully found times to be still.
I want to share a bit of encouragement that I found during my devotion last week…
ISAIAH 40:28-31
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak,
Even the youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
There have been many moments where I have felt very overwhelmed these past view months. I have learned so much about how to trust the Lord. This sweet scripture brought me a lot of comfort. My eyes and ears have been opened to the Lord and I have seen him move. His movement in my heart, my family, my friends, my squad, and many other places. His fingerprints are seen everywhere. The Lord wants your chaos. Invite him in. Keep saying yes to the Lord.
In the midst of the most overwhelming chaos, He will comfort you.
I pray that these words bring peace to your heart. Where ever you are I pray you feel comforted by our Savior.
