I’m finally in Nepal for month 2! It’s been a whirlwind since I got here! Nepal is absolutely beautiful! Flying over the Himalayan mountains was breathtaking! I’ve never seen something so beautiful!
While I’ve been here, I got to go bungy jumping/canyon swinging! It was the scariest, most exhilarating thing I have ever done in my life!
For ministry one day, we went to the slums and played with the children. These kids have nothing. Their houses are little shacks made up of tin/mud. The smiles on their faces and the laughter made it all worth it! We sang songs, taught them Bible stories, played games and just loved on them. We also got to pray for a few people. Even though they didn’t speak English or know what we were saying,it didn’t matter because God knew.

One thing I will share about Nepal is that the smog is very thick and the roads are super dusty so my allergies have been going haywire! I’ve been battling a stuffy nose all week but so far, that’s the only “sickness” I’ve gotten. Quite a few people in my squad have gotten a weird stomach thing. A few had to be hospitalized because of it. It comes and goes in waves. Hopefully it will leave soon! I thank God everyday that I’m healthy and haven’t gotten sick. That’s probably been the best blessing so far!
This next week, we will be traveling to the jungles of Nepal to a village where we will stay for 8 days so I won’t have access to wifi so look for an update when I return! I’m not sure what we will be doing but there may be a chance to ride an elephant and see some red pandas! I’m super excited!
Thank you all for continuing to support me! Please pray for our safety as we travel on Monday and pray for continued health for me as well as my squad!
