Hello everyone!

I know I haven’t done the best job of keeping up with this blog but that will change! Starting now!  I wanted to update you on everything that’s been going on in my life, how fundraising is going and information I have received from Adventures in Missions regarding my trip!

So, first off, I have had a very busy summer! I was in a production of Anything Goes the musical and that literally took up my whole summer! Thank God it’s over! I’m glad to have my life back! I had an incredible time and I made so many new and wonderful friends! Now back to reality and working on world race stuff!

Fundraising has been going pretty well. I’ve received many donations and I’m so thankful for each and every person who has donated towards my trip! I can officially say, as I write this, I am 50.3% of the way to being fully funded! I am so overwhelmed and incredibly thankful for all the support I have received. When I started fundraising, I never thought I would have my first goal completed before the deadline, let alone more than halfway of my next goal completed before the deadline! I am so excited to continue fundraising and seeing how God provides for me!

Now, I’ve received a few emails from adventures in missions regarding my trip. We were informed that we are no longer going to Greece or Botswana but we will be going to Albania and Zimbabwe instead. I don’t know why but God obviously has other plans! We also got our official launch date! We will be launching either January 7th or 8th so I have approximately 137 days until January 7th! It’s super exciting but scary at the same time! We have training camp October 18th-29th so that starts in 56 days! I still have so much to do before training camp! I still need to get alot of my gear. I have my backpack, sleeping pad, sleeping bag and tent but there is still a whole list of items I need.

Thank you all again for all the love and support! God has been so good to me and I can’t wait to see how He continues to bless me and everyone I come in contact with!
