Hi! Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to read what God has been doing in my life & how He is preparing me for July!

Joy has become my word of the season I am currently in and wow it feels good. I had been craving something more substantial than temporary happiness and a few weeks ago God began to overflow my cup with joy. For spring break I had the amazing opportunity to serve in Nicaragua for a week and God did so many amazing things in and through myself and my team. However, something completely unexpected happened through the week while we were there. The same people that God sent us to pour His love into poured overflowing joy into me. God used both my team and these people to answer one another’s prayers. God answered their prayer of getting a home built for their family and food in their stomachs, and he answered my prayer of finding fulfillment. I was expecting to get a lot out of the trip, but never would I have imagined what I brought back with me more than anything was joy. Time and time again I saw that actions speak louder than words because we were able overcome the language barrier with laughter, smiles, and hugs.

I am so thankful for this one week experience and took in every moment of it, but it also got me so excited for July because we get to spend 4 weeks building relationships with the people of Jaco. I truly believe God satisfies our needs like never before when we obey His calling to give, serve, pray, or whatever He is calling us to in that season.

The link is in my home page as always to give financially if you feel led, but please continue to pray for my team in this time of uncertainty that we will be able to go serve Jaco, Costa Rica in July if it is in the Lord’s will. If World Race believes God calls us to postpone or cancel the trip in July, full refunds will be available. Reach out to me if you are interested in learning more about what our month will consist of in Jaco; I would love to send you a support letter or chat over the phone! In this time of uncertainty, we can find joy in being loved so well by our Heavenly Father that will never forsake us.
