Do you ever stop and wonder what people actually see in you? Qualities that maybe you don’t think you have or are maybe lacking in. When someone points something positive out in you that you didn’t realize was there, it somewhat gives you a new sense of confidence.
I look at this list of things the girls on my squad wrote down about me- “Confident, kind, beautiful, desired, fun to be around”- and wonder who they’re even talking about. This can’t possibly be about me, can it??? Why don’t I see these qualities in myself and when things like this are spoken over me, why don’t I actually believe it? To know that others see things like this in me is such a sweet reminder of who God has made me to be. It also reminds me of how much the enemy can get inside of our heads and speak lies over you and tells you that you aren’t good enough, that you aren’t wanted or desired by others, or that you have reason to be insecure. The beauty of that though, is that’s exactly what that all is… LIES.
